RM5000
I have a story...
there is this Cina guy, Ah Song (i like this name... hehe), stays in a small small 'kampung' area. he earns on average RM1000 only a month. few months back he spent RM3000 of his hard-earn money, and bought himself a 'kapcai' car.
then few months later, our beloved government decided to give 'incentive' to the old-car owners. a rebate of RM5000 for getting a new car. wah lau eh! but with conditions, someone needs to own that car for more than 6 months and only applicable to buy either 'Perotong' or the 'Perodua' cars. bang!!!
so happy, this Ah Song finally ditched the old car and getting himself a new one. hmmmm, the cheapest one among these two brands is only the little 'Kancil'. this little one also cost more than RM25,000 on the road. to make it round figure, after minus the rebate he still need to fork out RM20K for this new car.
problems come. he needs to pay the down payment first, RM2000. he needs to find mony. then the balance he needs bank loan. at this moment, it is not easy to get bank loan. red-tapes, they will request a lot of documents from the potential customers. not that they don't want business, it is just that... this poor guy just have RM1000 monthly only.
lets say this poor guy has no other commitment, he has no other loans. still the bank will ask for a guarantor as this poor guy is a first-timer. the banks will look at the payment profile if someone got previously applying for loan.
facing all these troubles, this Ah Song became 'beh song' - not happy. just for that RM5000 rebate, he got all these problems. furthermore, he needs to pay his monthly instalment of don't know how much for enjoying his little new 'Kancil'.
worth it or not?
i don't think so, loh!

REMEMBER 308!
1. after 308 incident, people have had decided their choice. the so-called opposition coalition gains control over five states, namely state of Kelantan, Perak, Penang, Kedah and Selangor, and occupying more than one third in the Parliament. switching of power in certain states, are generally welcome in their respective states. others, still the same.
2. it is a wake-up call for those in power, people are yearning for a CHANGE! people wish to see 'some', not many, improvements from the administration and benefits to 'rakyat' directly. someone up there, has been too long in power, should have given way and some opportunity to the younger generation.
3. people are becoming more and more alert, and sensitive to the current political situation. people are no more relying totally on to the government-controlled media, more and more under-the-desk stories are discovered from everywhere. people are getting 'cleverer' to search for the truthfully true stories...
4. WE WANT A CHANGE, but people do not want to have a fragile government! someone up there, so unaware of current state, letting the left and right men giving all the untrue statements. like a bamboo without backbone, swinging side to side.
5. people have chosen their preferred candidates of representative in state and parliament, and the decision was also made because of the represented coalition parties. people do not like FROGS, hoping from one party to another political party.
6. people hope the someone up there, should learn from the mistakes. not to point finger now, stating who's right or wrong, promoting self the genius one! stop shouting, people want to see the 'Yang Berkerja' YBs...
7. people have been yearning for good governance and efficient public delivery. someone so clever to announce some big agenda to test the market one fine day. after uproar from the 'rakyat', someone more genius one decided to have a U-turn. what for? for fun is it!!!
8. people's message to someone up there, support for YOU has been eroding simply because YOU have failed to live up to these escalating expectations.
sad...

AIYOYOOUUURRRR!!!
our poor Malaysia citizens have been fooled around lately.
few days back, someone 'the genius one' from the somewhere lah just announced another toll price hike over the five major expressways, mainly at the Klang Valleys. someone's there were so smart and reasoned out 'it's just a minor adjustment, most also at 50 cents only and 5% increment over the North-South expressway...'. after all, we still need to pay compensations or fines to the companies as it (the toll price increment) was delayed for more than a year.
after one day.
someone, 'more genius one' made a massive U-TURN! announcing to delay its decision regarding the toll price increment till year end. after hearing, and concerning about 'rakyat's current situation, it will be just fine for the government to pay the compensations to the companies.
happy now???
hey, don't get fooled over here!
we, the poor Malaysian citizens, is losing in this game no matter what!
whatever decision made by 'the genius one', the compensations still needed to pay the companies. where are the money from to pay these compensations? truthfully, it is still 'rakyat's money. every single cent, and ringgit from our hard-earn money, is going to 'feed' these companies.
don't you see it now?
what can we do now? nothing, and we can just follow the flow of the stream. slowly, to adapt to the current situation. helplessly, do nothing and hope for something... the fact is, the genius one will remains genius.
aiyok!
i got a slap!!!

To my dear...
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.
my dearest, you are my everything.
these are all loves from you meant to me...
L.O.V.E.

I like...
form my school days, long long time ago, i like to read newspaper. without fail, i will read from the front page stories to the last page, everyday. from the hot topics, to editorial reviews, celebrities scandals, sport news, to business and stock reviews, i like them all.
i paid RM0.80 only last time to RM1.20 - RM1.50 now. almost double the cost, will not stopping me from getting them. at least two daily, Chinese and English version each. spending almost an hour a day reading them, still i don't think i manage to digest every single issue inside it. so committed, and it is far more motivated than reading educational materials.
nowadays, i like to go to my hospital's library. it provides me daily 'supplements', i can read all three major languages' newspapers at one time. even the librarian was asking why don't i buy newspapers myself? jokingly, she is bored of seeing me everyday in the library. the librarian even had to stay overtime sometimes for letting me reading the newspapers. my answer, it's FREE of charge mah there!
even we have internet now, there are plenty of updated news and open resources online. still, i like the paper, as in paper'ish' feeling. i like to hold it, flip it, and feel it.
eh, it sounds like i'm insane??? gila???
no lah! don't get me wrong...
studies showed at different age group will have special interest at the reading newspapers habit. at 10 - 20 years old group, most people will start reading at the entertainment or celebrities scandals first. at 20 - 30 years of age, they start to like the front stories, the hot topics of the day. at 30 - 40 years of age, people will prefer at the business section. at 40 - 50 years old pulak, they will start reading at second section or something about lifestyle. for 50 years old and above, they will start at editorial reviews or whatever reviews...
which part of the newspaper you will start reading first?
me, from the front page... eh, it means i'm at the correct age group.
woahahahaaa!!!
i like to read newspaper... i must read newspaper... i can't live without newspaper...
i'm addicted!

Happy 牛 Year!!!
in this festive season, still in festive mood, wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year...
where did i go?
after spending few days in my home town, Parit Buntar, Mrs Boleh-man and i went to Malacca for visiting in-laws. 9-day-holiday, had great fun to relax and recharge myself.
nah, this is my boy's picture.

a 4-D scanning. was trying so hard to get his front view, but he was too shy and hide away. after many many trials, only manage to shot his side view.
so happy...
and counting the days for his arrival!

Money, money, money...
many don't understand, neither i am, why do the rich people are getting richer? what do they have, any special ability, that we all are lacking of? we, the poorer category, need to work for hours, saving every cents, just for that little income! why???
how to be a millionaire?
eh... i have a simple formula here. if you start saving RM1400 every month in to the fixed deposit account, with the annual interest of 5%, after 40 years, your accumulated saving will be RM1400 X (1 + 5%) X 40 = RM 169,000.00 that's it.
but,
if you invest into any of the potential investments, like share market, properties... with the same amount, the return will be around 20% annually. after the same period, how much do you think you will get? the answer is, you are a millionaire! or a billionaire!
from this story, someone needs to be more flexible, and able to accommodate in any situation to invest. everyone must learn how to invest, no matter what, either as a conservative type or an aggressive one. how to manage your resources, this is the key point of success...
as Malay proverb says, "sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit... EMAS!"
YOU must start now!

"Doctor, please let me die..."
few days ago i was called to attend a case at the casualty department. a 60-year-old Chinese guy was gasping for air, he looked so hard to take every breathe. of his limitation of breathing, he was still trying so hard to talk to me.
"doctor, i need water..."
"doctor, i am very hungry..."
after making fast examination, i called upon his family members for further information of his previous condition. aiyaaa, he has been such for very very long time. and he got admitted to few hospitals for similar presentation, he got collapse a few times also.
he has very severe lung problem, in short at terminal stage.
the patient already knew his condition. after few episode of miracles, revived after collapse. he has lose the hope. with his last few breathe, he told me...
"doctor, please let me die..."
sad to say this. and his only daughter was sobbing to see his condition. so unwillingly to accept the option, yet so sorry to see his worsening condition.
they agreed for not active management on him, they opted not for intubation, nor performing CPR on him.
on the next day, he finally took his last breathe. a peaceful ending for him, freedom from his torment, a solution to his family members.
sad...
